Bancroft Hotel and Oakland Rose Garden Wedding

Kate and Eric. Oh man, these two are a HOOT! When we first met them via Skype, we knew we’d enjoy their wedding because they told us about all the wonderful app-style food they were planning to serve. But this wedding was so much more than delicious food! For starters, Kate and Eric are comedians. Ok, they probably don’t get paid to be as roaringly funny as they are, but they should. We were laughing non-stop! Their vows were adorable, and meaningful, and FUNNY! All the speeches were warm, and loving, and FUNNY! And to top it off, Eric used to sing in an acapella group at UC Berkeley, so not only did he take over the mic for an amazingly fun impromptu performance, but the mic was floating around amongst friends all night long!

Let’s also pause for a minute to acknowledge the vintage coolness factor of the Bancroft Hotel, their reception venue. This Berkeley landmark is warm, and spacious, and oh-so-cool. It was the perfect setting for these two. I mean, do you see those fabulous non-traditional threads they’re sporting?! So great.

Congrats, Kate and Eric! We could not be more thrilled that you two found each other.
