Garden Valley Farm Wedding

Betty and Dick were referred to us by a mutual friend and incredible event designer, Jamie Gardea. Anytime we have the opportunity to capture an event designed by Jamie, we jump at the chance—every detail is considered and the settings always look natural and effortlessly gorgeous.

While Betty still works in the Bay, Dick has retired to work on their farm in the Sierras. These two exchanged vows on their beautiful property, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

We knew that Betty had zero interest in the froo-froo details of being a bride (precisely why she hired Jamie!), but we were still a little surprised to find her in her boots and overalls when we arrived on their wedding day! Thankfully being a no-fuss bride means you can go from work-wear to flawless in a matter of minutes (at least it worked for Betty!)

We had such a wonderful time capturing this down-home union. The crowd was warm, the joy was contagious, and the roast pig was divine!
