Jen and Austin

Jen and Austin are good friends and I was excited to photograph their wedding, in Idaho! The best part about Idaho (aside from the wedding, of course) are the HUCKLEBERRIES! They look like a blueberry but kind of taste like a blackberry. And they are delicious. Like the best berry ever. And they only grow in the wild in the northwest. You better believe a huckleberry shake was had by all 🙂

Now back to the wedding. Jen and Austin found an awesome rental property in Mccall, Idaho. The property was literally down a gravel/dirt road and I was only moderately concerned I might pop a tire. But the grounds were gorgeous – backing up to the river. And did I mention the amazing tree standing all by its lonesome out in the field? I was in heaven. It was an epic party that ended well into the night and I couldn’t be happier for these 2!

Ooooh, forgot to mention the AMAZING red lipstick Jen wore. As did Austin 🙂 I have so many photos of lipstick being transferred and then wiped away, all adorable and sweet – especially when Jen helped!

We ended the night hiding out near their getaway vehicle. The brothers had wrapped the van in camo wrapping paper and wanted to surprise/scare them as they headed off. As we waited, we literally marvelled at the milky way and all the stars that could be seen without any city lights. We then proceeded to do the world’s worst/best “surprise” (we weren’t quiet at all) and wish the couple well as they departed!
